Definitely some strong looks from the locals, but generally safe and ok

Kopaonik is a ski resort in the south of Serbia on the border of the contested Kosovo territory.
Much cheaper than ski resorts in Western Europe, and the largest in south-east Europe.
Be prepared to be stared at...a lot - many curious, some resentful.
No huge issues at the airport, but immigration took a little longer than the average.
Main sights: the snow-capped mountains, national park
